The Secret Healthy Bodybuilding Cheat Meal
It’s been a while since I posted anything about protein shake recipes or anything similar in nature. In fact, the last time I did so was back when I wrote this post,

Grab your supplements and go mix. But today is not about supplements. Today is about eating a cheat meal without actually cheating.
Introducing the Protein Pancake
This may or may not be new to you, either way, I am supplying you with some great protein pancak recipess. Pancakes which you can stuff your face with when you are laying off the carbs.
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/2 cup Fat Free Cottage Cheese
- 4-5 egg whites
- 1 scoop protein powder (vanilla)
Blend until batter consistency. Then pour into a frying pan like normal pancakes.
That’s the basics of how to make protein pancakes.
#1 Mix 1/2 cup of blueberries after blending. = Blueberry flavored pancakes
#2 Add half a banana before blending = Banana flavored pancakes.
The type of whey protein you use will have an impact of how the pancakes turn out. The two that I have tried are Next Nutrition Designer Whey and ON Whey Protein. Those worked well for me so I can recommend those.
Another thing you need to do is add water to the whey protein so that you can actually make pancakes. If you want some really thick pancakes, just use less water.
Vanilla flavored whey protein and add lemon juice. That’s it!
There are many other fun variations to play with, but yours truly has played with the above and can approve of their ‘tastefulness’. I’m currently in fitness fun mode so expect to see more fitness fun antics. Just don’t forget the hard work part 😉
