The Bodybuilding.com Supplement Awards… Who Will You Be Voting For?

It’s that time of the year again folks…
Change is inevitable, just like everything else in life. However, somethings do remain the same, especially when it comes to the supplements we have all been taking throughout the past year(s)
We all know that I have been training since my pro athlete days (Which began 12 years ago). And the supplements I have tried since the are all listed here (The ones I approve of anyway)
Some of those I still take without fail, while some others, not so often.
The ones I take on a regular basis are listed in point #6 in this article
The Top 8 Reasons Why You’re Scrawny And The Other Dude Is Not!
However, I always do like to drum home the fact that I didn’t actually start taking supplements until my training sessions became intense. During both Athletic training and post athletic training.
Why?
Because the only reason you need to take supplements is to refill the nutrients that your body may need. Nutrients that you may miss from consuming natural good food. And it will be hard to keep up with all the recommended food intake regimes once your life and training becomes VERY active.
- 5/6 meals per day
- Correct intake of carbs, proteins and fat
In which case, I would recommend taking supplements.
Remember!
To increase body mass you need to consume more calories than you use.
And it will just plain suck if you’ve been working your ass off and training insane to realize a few weeks later that you’ve been wasting your time.
NO GROWTH, NO GAINS, NADA!!! (Or lack of)
FRUSTRATION!!!
The name of the game is training insane, which is of course requires intensity and which is of course, the core message here at Stay-Fit Bug. Therefore, supplements will need to be taken for most of you.
- But which ones have you been taking?
- Any from the list of recommended products mentioned above in the bodybuilding resources?
- And which ones will you vote for?
The nominees are listed here:
The Bodybuilding.com Supplement Awards
And you can vote now up in until the 15th of August.
Do let me know which ones you have been taking, the pros/ cons of each one (From your own personal experience) And any you would recommend to stay away from (I’ve heard the horror stories out there).
Anyhow, keep training insane and I’ll see you in the comments.

Where it says ‘Get Fed’
Ive used supplements from numerous manufacturers over the years and have come to find Dr, Max Powers supplements for muscle are always in my top three. Their Anabolic Stack is not meant to be some miracle stack where you suddenly become fit. It is however a nice way to push through plateaus. I used the Leukic and Gakic a few months ago and was happy with the results, but did find better progress stacking with the Anabolic Stack. As long as you don’t expect this to be a miracle stack, as it is only a two week supply, this is a good product at a decent price (i paid like 51 bones).
It’s good that those supplements work for you Tom. And it is true that there is no Miracle supplement out there. Hard work and training insane is a must!
I’ve buying supplements for the last 10 years and I am definitely a Dymatize, Optimum Nutrition and Gaspari products fan. I’m glad to see that they have been recognized in the 2010 awards.
Thanks for the great blog!
