Hey man - totally inspiring! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I use a lot of cardio (about 70%) in my workout and supplement every other day with weights. Seems to work for me.

Hi Shane

I'm glad you like the lose it, tone it, build it statement. For bulking and cutting, carb cycling is one thing you could do. There has actually been quite a lot of talk on this subject in the past month. Here are a few ways you can start to solve that problem.

1.

High intensity short cardio workout = fat loss

Moderate intensity long cardio workout = build lean muscle (increasing metabolism)

2. There's a full guide in the Free Ebook Build A 6 Pac: From Flab To Flat starting from page 7. That will show you how to structure your workouts based on your goals and body type.

3. If you're really serious, checkout Mondays post, where I introduce a guide that's even more in depth and focused on actual fat loss/ building lean muscle mass

Lose it, tone it, build it. I like that. I must admit that I've been using a less-than perfect approach for myself as well...

On the other hand, what about bulking and cutting cycles? They seem to work for many bodybuilders and weight-lifters?

I have looked at many sites and not come across a site like yours which tells everyone everything they need to know. I have just added you to my bookmarks. Can anyone else suggest other related topics that I can search for to find out more information? Thanks.
