How to Effectively Work From Home (S-curve Partner Program)

People of S-curve world…

I’ve kinda highlighted this topic in a past post…

A day in the life of an S-curve Xperience follower (Who lives it to the MAX!)

And I did so at the time… As lot of people who were meeting me in situations like this…

Shaun Sinclair meet ups

Kept wondering what it is I do and How I do what I do (For a living).

And so… I just laid out what my daily life has looked like, for the past several years.

Which of course… Has evolved and improved over time.

Today?

This topic was instigated by one of our new S-curve Partner Program (Business) members.

These guys…

How/Why?

Because just like many other businesses who were used to working in an office. They too had to embrace #socialdistancing and quarantine. In order to help slow down the spread of the Coronavirus.

And so… A virtual/remote work set up is what they have had to switch to.

This of course, has positive and negative impacts.

The main negative, comes into play when you have team members that you’ve had a face-to-face work relationship with.

THIS post… Isn’t about how other businesses work from home or remotely.

It’s about how I’VE been working from home/remotely.

And how YOU can possibly embrace some of what gets done here.

Which is more important/relevant. As you’re here to live some variation of an S-curve Xperience lifestyle.

– Living life in your best body
– With your favorite people
– Earn/Travel ‘whenever’/wherever

A lifestyle that I’ve been living for the best part of the past 10 years.

So let’s get into what that looks like.

Cut TV and social media streams

This is a big one.

And how I test it’s effectiveness?

By placing myself in environments where a TV is switched on.

– Hotel rooms
– Internet/coffee shops

Because when I’m in those places… I sometimes find myself drifting away from work. Killing productivity.

In fact… I go to those places… As an ‘Air time’ shenanigan.

‘Air time’ =

– Get inspiration for new ideas.

– A break away from people (That you need to communicate with throughout the day).

– Live ‘life’… Within the city (On week days).

Anyway…

Not owning a TV or having one on, is the first thing that needs to get done.

Because a 100% productivity zone allows YOU, to get work done, that would usually take a small army to accomplish.

With the help of digital tools of course (This varies from business to business… Which we discus throughout our > 121 chats).

No social media streams

This is a little harder to achieve…

1. Because we need to live on social media websites to attract new business.

2. It’s where we find new connections.

3. It’s how we stay informed about what’s going on in the world.

How to succeed?

Well… Facebook is the best example I can use.

For me…

I don’t even open my Facebook timeline. All I do… Is go straight to profile page every time.

The Facebook stories is the only other place where almost all of us go.

Shaun Sinclair

However… The algorithms do a pretty good job of showing you stories from people, who more often than not, you need/want to see.

It might even be the reason why you found me :D.

Twitter?

Mostly the same.

Tiktok?

That too.

Pinterest?

That too.

All of them…

It’s all about going there, to be a hardcore provider. And to be ‘softcore’ provided by other people.

Keep that at the forefront of your mind, and you’ll succeed. Maintaining high levels of productivity.

High productivity

Most importantly… This gives you more free time for YOU!

Because being in business, often means working 12-16 hour days.

But being 100% productive, means that not all of those hours need to be ‘work’ hours.

Which is how we came up with ‘> ‘Air time‘ (More on this later).

Stick to chat apps

(Use > this link to talk to us).

– Cut off unnecessary talk time/long conversations. They will eat into productivity and ‘get sh*t done’ time.

Yes… The chats is where you NEED to live.

– Not the timelines

Why?

Because you’re able to focus on the most important conversations.

Ghosting people/’Seen-zoning’ people isn’t the nicest thing to do on people.

But it’s a GREAT thing to do for your businesses (And quality of life).

You’re able to control the energy that enters your vicinity.

For me…

– 121 coaching chats (SMP).

– People who are present in the S-curve Partner Program (Individuals and business).

– People who I’m working with within stayfitbug.com.

– People who I have an offline/personal relationship with. Most of whom, I’ll see face to face in the immediate future.

All other conversations get put to the side. At least during work time.

Even Instagram has started to understand this…

Instagram fitbuzz

It’s all about keeping the most important messages at the front/center of your mind.

That’s how you effectively ‘work’.

Create a work/marketing/sleep flow…

[Because they all work in sync]

Yup… THIS… Is the holy grail of the operation.

An operation that is tailored to the S-curve Xperience way of living…

– Living life in your best body
– With your favorite people
– Earn/Travel ‘whenever’/wherever

The work flow

Becoming ‘Super disciplined’!

For most people… It’s something they’re going to have to practice and get good at.

Super disciplined… Which is what is taught within the S-curve Member Program. Which is the no.1 thing that causes people to succeed.

– Not nutrition
– Not workouts

Turning up properly… Daily… Without fail!

The first thing you’ll need to do. Is structure your external environment, to allow you to do that.

Some ideas

– A work only room.

– Wall art that fixates your mind on work (For me… That’s blank walls).

> This device… From Adaptive Sound Technologies

Adaptive Sound Technologies LectroFan High Fidelity White Noise Sound Machine

– Protocol/Permanent ‘Air time’ locations to work from. Heres one of mine…

Serenity in regular doses…

– The right seating arrangement…

For me… Some kind of sofa bed.

It’s the ONLY way I can work, far and beyond the hours… That are worked, when comparing to working on a desktop chair.

If you’ve ever looked at any stayfitbug.com  social media feed. And wondered how it all gets done without robots (Which people don’t like any more). Then that’s how it gets done.

And it’s usually done, along side one of my ‘Air time’ shenanigans (More on that later).

Once you have that sorted… It’s about creating a seamless work flow.

This is 100% likely to change and evolve over time.

And it’s something you should be doing anyway. In order to improve the results of your marketing efforts. Because how people respond to your marketing messages, will change over time too.

The work flow, is all about setting concrete deadlines for certain tasks to be done.

Seriously… If tasks don’t get done. You kick yourself. And make sure it doesn’t happen again.

By the end of each day… You should be able to clearly analyse every action that was taken during the day (I do this daily, without fail).

Which then allows you to evaluate each one. And most importantly… To improve each action. Which leads to more income and time.

Time… Which you’ll have… Because you have been 100% productive.

You see that right there? You see how this all works now?

The whole set up is in sync. You follow it, you win.

The marketing flow

It’s all about knowing exactly what will be posted, hours/days before hand.

Some things will be ‘in the moment’. But most of it, will be pre-planned. Which is what you’ll need in place, if you grow to a point where you have a marketing team in place.

I usually set this up, a few hours before the day begins.

Things like newsletters and videos, are planned days before.

Again… ‘Robot’ software isn’t what’s needed.

More so, things like…

– A laptop/device that is optimised for speed.

– The best of the best ‘software’ (Will vary from business to business).

And the marketing plan… Is something that you initially create.

A formula for how and what gets posted. And again… One that you will tweak and test daily/weekly. Which is what I do.

Your sleep flow

This will be YOU... At a certain point of each work day from home @priscillatrindadeofficial
This will be YOU… At a certain point of each work day from home @priscillatrindadeofficial

This has always changed for me. And will change for you too. Especially if ‘travel’ is baked into your daily schedule.

In general… You should fall asleep at the same time every night. And get the same 5-8 hours every night.

That range is usually enough to ensure that you’ll function at 100% productivity, for a max of 16 hours of your ‘awake time’ (You won’t work all 16 hours… More on that shortly).

Of course… I can’t talk on the topic of sleep, without highlighting this post.

So THIS is who you are sleeping with every night…!!!

I won’t explain any of it here…

Just dig in…

And if we are talking about sleep… It’s impossible not to highlight the elements of the S-curve formula.

Explaining the elements of the S-curve formula

As you certainly won’t look like Priscilla (Above). If you are working your ass off and NOT following any of the elements!

Which means no ‘living in your best body’ for YOU!

Use the S-curve meal structure shenanigans

I’ll keep this simple…

Live by what you see in the following posts…

4 S-curve meal structures – Based on the time of day you workout (No.3 is protocol)

The S-curve formula and program ‘timeline’ (Epic explanation)

Explaining the elements of the S-curve formula

And if you need a helping hand… Just message about starting the S-curve member program (SMP). As I’ll walk you through how to structure it all, specifically for YOU.

Which will of course, ensure that we keep all that free time that you’ve obtained, from remaining 100% productive!

As I’ll take all of that learning and planning time off of your hands.

‘Air time’

I’ve been hinting at this topic all throughout this post. And here we are.

In relation to high productivity

Earlier… I mentioned that 12-16 hour work days will be the norm. Yet… How not all of those hours will be ‘work’ hours.

It’s all about having a lot of ‘work periods’. Where we take 30-60 minute breaks throughout the day + A long 2-3 hour official lunch break.

Usually… I take a 3-4 hour break during the evening… Where I work and hang out at the same time.

Which is how I was able to meet 1-5 new people every other day, throughout all of 2019.

This is the ideal lifestyle to be living, when located in the city.

Which is what inspired this post…

5 S-curve Xperience items that I use every week (No.5 is a MUST have)

‘Air time’… Your work space seating arrangement

What I was getting at here… Was embracing activities that you’ll do indoors, during your breaks.

For me… This is TV shows and Youtube videos.

For fun? Yes.

But ‘Air time’ is all about being able to catch thoughts and ideas… Different than what you see daily. By experiencing and seeing things in industries outside of your own.

Watching TV shows works well… As they are watched on the same laptop I’m working from.

I don’t stream them either. Which means I’m able to pause the, if important work situations arise.

To conclude

Today… It’s all about setting up a personal and work structure, that allows you to work from anywhere.

Not just home.

Read this post…

Access vs Ownership (In s-curve world)

If you’re into the S-curve Xperience way of living. And decide to start following some of the practices highlighted above… You’ll win.

I know… Because it’s everything that I’ve done and am still doing.

And I’m winning!
