That is indeed an approved classic Ron!
Hey guy, You don’t need to bulk up that neck. You must engage in raising your shoulders to your chin level. That’s the way the body is designed. You have a meek way about yourself. You have kept your chest small and at a low level. You need to raise your shoulders. 1. Alexander Technique; Use this method to legthen the spine and widen the back. The trapizies muscle attached to the top of your head will pull the back of your chest up. Your lats will have to legthen as well. The neck and throut muscle that is attached the center of the clavicles will pull up the middle chest bone and the whole chest. 2. Go it alone because your friends and others will make you nervous for your effort to change. You’ll need some spiritual assistance. Go it alone here too. Believe in yourself because you haven’t before and that is what got you in this position. Get rolfed and get some tramadol. Best of luck. I went through it and I feel great. It only took 5 years to change but hey, I did.

Thanks for the insights James. Raising your shoulders/ traps is a key technique for sure. The methods described here will help improve neck strength. I’m sure everyone here will find your input useful.
